John Nemer Ayoob, 70, of 1816 North 22nd St., Clarksburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, in United Hospital Center following a sudden illness.
He was born March 30, 1928, in Clarksburg, a son of the late Nemer Ayoob and Mary Herrick Ayoob.
His wife, Jo Ann Ayoob, survives.
Also surviving are four sons, John Steven, Nemer Edward and Timothy Lee Ayoob, all of Clarksburg, and Daniel Edward Ayoob, Morgantown; two daughters, Brenda Sue Sothen, Clarksburg, and Mary Elaine Marshe, Chula Vista, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Ayoob, Clarksburg, and five sisters, Julia Salfia, Thelma Boldyga and Elizabeth Ayoob, Clarksburg, and Rose Herrick and Louise Marsh, both of Michigan.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and George Ayoob and three sisters, Adel Herrick, Emily Poe and Anna Ayoob.
Mr. Ayoob was retired from the Eagle Convex Glass Speciality Company after 48 years service. He was Catholic.
There will be private family visitation and graveside Catholic burial rites.
WESTON -- Bonnie L. Bonnett, 46, of Route 1, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 9, 1951, in Weston, a daughter of the late Franklin C. Burkhammer and Pauline Davisson Burkhammer.
Her husband, Vincent R. Bonnett, survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Robert E. Burkhammer and Frank Burkhammer Jr., both of Weston; three sisters, Madeline Ireland and Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Marsh, both of Weston, and Mrs. Clarence (Rosalea) Lattea, Route 2, Camden; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
She was also preceded in death by one child.
Mrs. Bonnett was a beautician and member of the Assembly of God.
Friends will be received from 3-9 p.m. today at Boyle Funeral Home, 322 Main Ave. in Weston. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Heater officiating. Interment will follow in the Peterson Cemetery in Weston.
Margaret Ann Merriman, 64, of Huntington, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1998, in Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Huntington, following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 28, 1934, in Weston, a daughter of the late John S. and Ora M. Perkins Stutler.
Surviving are one sister, Viola Lefevre, Darlington, Pa.; two brothers, John F. Stutler and his wife, Judy, Scott Depot, and William Stutler, Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, one brother and two sisters.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Davis Funeral Home, Clarksburg Chapel, 443 W. Pike St. in Clarksburg. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Broad Run Cemetery in Jane Lew.
