Duties Include:
The administration of nursing care to patients in the Operating Room and/or Recover Room. Additionally, the incumbent shall perform administrative, supervisory and other duties as needed to assure the smooth operation of the Operating room and recover rooms. The incumbent will be responsible for the supervision of other O.R. Staff and report directly to the Director of Acute Care Nursing.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing/at least 1 year PACU/Operating Room experience, BLS & ACLS certification required. The incumbent must be prompt, dependable, show initiative, be willing to learn and have experience managing an operating room staff. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are a must.
